Yet when three people in Oshkosh Wisconsin get the trots from e-coli contaminated lettuce it's national news and there is a recall of the entire crop nation wide. Go figure.

yeah, That is the next target . I drive 30 mins. each way to get my raw milk or I do without as the stuff you get in the stores is good for nothing except lactose intolerance.
Same here, though I do use store-bought pasteurized milk for making milk kefir. Some people have success making kefir from raw milk (without first heating it), but I haven't gotten consistent results.
Hi Mitch, I have been making kefir from raw milk for almost a year now. I never heat the raw milk and I do not understand why you seem to think heating raw milk is necessary for making kefir. (??)
I have also made kefir from pasteurized organic whole milk, and from ultra-pasteurized goat milk, on occasions when I ran out of raw milk.
It worked fine, although I prefer what I get from the raw milk.
Hi Tina, your comment inspired me to get more persistent about raw milk kefir. I'm now getting consistent results. I think I just needed a bigger critical mass of kefir grains to counteract the natural bacteria in the raw milk.
Thanks, Tina. Sometimes the raw milk doesnтАЩt firm up into kefir for me. Admittedly I havenтАЩt tried too many times. Apparently the variety of bacterial strains in the kefir grains can play a role. Here is some more info, which so far partly reflects my experience.

E. coli benefits the medical cartel, whereas vaccine poisons threaten the medical cartels
Or somebody allegedly gets sick from drinking raw milk.

Well that's good to know, Thanks!
If you're ever interested, this fine lady got me started on making milk kefir (and kombucha).

Btw when the raw milk kefir worked, it was out of this world! I havenтАЩt given up on it.
That's an easy one to figure. One of the other tools in the kit. Starvation. (I know you know that).
