A man trapped in a house fire shouted CROWDED THEATER and was arrested by police after he was treated for injuries at a local hospital.
Local prosecutor Ham Fester acknowledged the arrest and stated the charge was incitement.
When questioned by reporters, Fester said, “It doesn’t matter whether you shout fire in a crowded theater or shout crowded theater in a fire. They’re equal. It’s an equation. Both sides of equation add up to the same thing.”
Coming out of a meeting with the President, US Attorney General Garland was asked about the case.
