A debate about basic ideas:

Why only 48 states?

Why not allow dividing states into more states?

Look at NY state, for example. People outside NYC have a very different outlook at life, but the state laws are tailored for the City. Why?

The same story happens in other places.

Also in other countries. In Canada, Cities like Vancouver or Toronto exert too much political influence in the laws that govern the lives of people living in small cities comunities far from those two large cities. These people have different lives. The laws ought to reflect that difference.

There are downsides. There are upsides.

People talk of dividing California into two states. Northern California people have their own way of life. It is a big state. Perhaps too big. Perhaps, people in the North would prefer a different legal approach to fighting drug cartels, such as Merck or Pfizer, and the smaller ones too.

I'm just sayin'.

I view politics the same way I regard american wrestling… scripted and choreographed. And this abortion issue is just the new PPV/OD event for the masses for the incredibly low price of what’s left of the public’s ability to discern. But what a show you’ll get!

I have no delusion that the “powers that be” regard human life and human rights any differently than 50 years ago in light of the past 2 years of forced lockdowns, mandatory vaccinations with known short-term and Yah only knows what long-term effects, and medically terminal prescriptions of ventilators and remdesivir.

All the worlds a stage.
