There’s gotta be someone out there today doing what he was doing, I would use his name to gauge whether or not the “hypno” therapist was worth going to, lol.
He is mentioned in AIDS Inc as Jack True, working in a clinic. So I guess he was a real character. If anyone wants to go down that hardcore imagination road, I‘m down to be your guide. +Magic Theatre workshops would also be something!
Yes def a real character, just trying to pin him down! Lol after I start an “ignore the idiots petition”, ha I haven’t had a lot of time to search further, maybe Jon knows another (non)hypno therapist that was close to what Jack true was doing? Think he reads the comments? Maybe the goal is to get someone else to go that route and try to do what he was doing. Has anyone tried to mimic Jack true just from reading the interviews? I’m curious.
I don’t know why I’m just seeing this but I am!! I will seriously think of taking you up on that offer. I’d like to know a little more about you first and the process! Keep exploring with it, that’s awesome
I've played around with it, basically taking a theme (or non) and asking what place comes up. From there going either into details of the scene or developing more outwards.
I had some interesting experiences so far (yet not on the level touched upon in their interviews), it feels like working with subconscious aspects of the person in a very organic/natural way. I'm also understanding more and more how to guide it towards different areas with my questions.
I'm still looking for someone who wants to dedicate to the process for a few sessions, so reach out if you wanna explore it!
