What’s the major weakness of RFK Jr? He seems to be more slime ball than mensch. Oh well. I’ve been a fully functioning adult now for about forty years. I ought to have learned by now that having confidence in politics and politicians and lawyers is for fools.

From Psalm 146 “Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save. When his spirit departs, he returns to the ground; on that very day his plans perish.”
It doesn’t seem to me that RFK Jr has the “spirit” of common sense.
a little harsh.. quoting scripture but I don't consider him a PRINCE: just a mortal man .. and in fact he has a lot of personal issues.. which I would not want to have to deal with.. really. I have never considered the Kennedy's Camelot at all. More like Tale of Two Cities .. Dickens style.
Nothing wrong with quoting scripture, in my honest opinion. The Hebrew word translated into “prince” can also be translated into a voluntary, generous, magnanimous, grandee (i.e. a man of elevated rank or station). So-called “grandees” sound like politicians who have such elevated (and arrogant?) opinions of themselves that they are true believers in their capabilities as “leaders” of nation states. Disclaimer: I lean strongly towards anarchy, literally “no rulers”. I’m not a true believer in the (so-called) “science” — IFF such science exists — that human beings require leaders or rulers.
