“Chicago PD”: New black Mayor reignites the lame TV show and wakes up America

If ratings are everything, why not do THIS? Television starts a revolution

Chicago PD, a long-running series about an elite intelligence unit tasked with solving tough nasty cases, is sinking into ratings Hell.

There’s one good reason for this. The producers won’t face facts. They won’t give viewers what viewers really want:

AN ATTACK ON KILLERS AT THE SOURCE.

It isn’t white cops.

It’s gangs.

A show that avoids this inconvenient truth for 10 years is going to go into the crapper. Doesn’t take a genius to figure that out.

Producers and networks without real balls make television a sick joke.

On the other hand, if the Chicago PD showrunners wanted ratings to go through the roof, they could make it happen in the blink of an eye.

So I’m giving producer Dick Wolf and NBC the right story lines.

Here we go.

Hank Voight, the head of the Chicago PD unit, is ambushed and shot while he’s driving home from work late at night.
