To touch on the idea of the "three floors", for me they can be likened to the three spheres of the cosmic illusion or God's imagination that comes into "existence" with God's whim to know "Who am I?" These three spheres/worlds are: Mental (thought/feelings), Subtle (energy), Gross (physical). Each sphere can be experienced only through the sense associated with it: Mental (Sight = Divine), Subtle (sight, hearing , and smell), and Gross (the big 5). Thus, each world is distinct experientially but integrated also in that: Out of the Mental IS emanating the Subtle, from which emanates the Gross aspect of this illusory show. These ideas can be found in "The Divine Theme" described in "God Speaks" by Meher Baba.
