Do this immediately if you have an enlarged Satan Club and your school shuts it down:
Call the ACLU and have them file a suit on your behalf
The Satanic Temple’s children’s club is being pushed in school districts that host Christian clubs — with the full backing of the far-left American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) who filed the suit on the organization’s behalf.
The Satanists argue that if the school allows one religion to host events, they must allow all.
“In a victory for free speech and religious freedom, a federal court has ruled that the Saucon Valley School District must allow the After School Satan Club to meet in district facilities,” the ACLU announced in a tweet on Monday.
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Judge John M. Gallagher wrote in his ruling that “when confronted with a challenge to free speech, the government’s first instinct must be to forward expression rather than quash it…”
Uh-huh. I have a suggestion for the judge. Read the Constitution. See the first clause of the Bill of Rights. Famously known as “separation of church and state.”
Public schools are state entities. Therefore, no religious clubs of any kind should be permitted on school grounds, or under the aegis of the school. Period.
The judge needs to go back to school. If he can find a good one.
In the absence of legal help, this is what I suggest. Parents who insist their children attend Saucon Valley schools (big mistake) should form new clubs, in order to TEST the free speech court ruling:
The anti-surgical-mutilation gender club.
