Every time rubes and yokels read about an “awkward” situation—money designated for X somehow goes to Y, or disappears into a black hole—the reaction is a WOW.

But we’re long past that point.

Where did billions in designated aid for the Ukraine wind up?

Where did weapons shipped to the Ukraine wind up?

Where did trillions in COVID bailout money actually go?

Where did a few trillion bucks for the War on Poverty disappear to, over a period of 58 years?

What about the trillions that vanished out of the Pentagon budget? And what about the budgets of other sucking maws called federal agencies, like the CIA and HHS?
