NY Times, June 1, 2053: Over a thousand groups on North American soil have signed on to a declaration of independence from imposed government energy quotas.

However, a spokesperson calling himself James Whitcomb told the Times yesterday, “This is much wider than a rejection of use limits. Every one of these groups is decoupling from centralized top-down political power.”
