As a lover of women and of the gateway — the vulva — this is horrid. However, we consistently ignore the genital mutilation of men that has gone on uninterrupted in the United States for many generations. And both women and gay men can chirp about whether they prefer "cut" or "uncut" but the reality is that the male foreskin is the equivalent of the clitoris. According to Joseph Kramer, the foreskin spiritually maps to the heart. In terms of brain anatomy, the foreskin maps to pleasure receptors that were not designed for pain.
In terms of familial bonds, such an attack on a baby is about destroying trust -- his trust in his protectors and his trust in existence. Nearly every man you see in the United States has been through this on day three of his life. What a way to enter the physical plane.
The tip of the boy's penis is amputated without anesthesia and without comforting, and it's brutally painful — and then for the rest of his life, an attribute of his body is missing. This separates him from his mother, who was supposed to protect him from this kind of assault at three days old; it affects his sexual feelings and abilities; it makes him accustomed to agonizing pain on an organ designed to give and receive bliss; and nobody cares. We have never reckoned the cost, in terms of making men ready for being the recipient of sexual violence. Nobody who claims that men are all potential perpetrators accounts for the role of male genital mutilation in their perception.
If the mother wants this done to the boy, none dare call it sexual violence by women. None dare say that the procedure IS MEDICALLY USELESS and done for profit only(and paid for by insurance) — "curing" nonexistent problems — a theme of this Substack. If we're going to address genital mutilation of girls and young women for girls, let's address it for all people. The hypocrisy is too much to stand. Circumcision must be BANNED or completely eschewed as barbaric like the prefrontal lobotomy. In sexual terms, it is the same thing.
Goodness. Have you any idea what suffering is caused to these women? These are internal tissues sliced, diced and sewn together. Then constantly abraded by urine and sexual intercourse. You are going on about saving a scrap of male skin that does not interfere with function. I have heard it affects “sensitivity” but what the hell, there is no possible comparison. And please don’t bring up mishaps in circumcision. If these were routine the men would be up in arms!
I'm not saying this should not be stopped. I am saying that there is an equivalent men's issue and as a female, you have no idea the pain caused to millions of men under the guise of a medical procedure. And don't mind me, I am on the actual feminist task force — which is supposed to be about equality. And women should care about their sons as much as I care about women having this done to them. The problem with feminism is that it thinks that dignity is for women only. This is not just getting old. The whole world is suffering for it.
There are no rites of passage for a three-day old, but there are plenty of insurance checks being cut to doctors. And I am Sicilian; I am not Semitic. I was born Roman Catholic and nobody asked me if I wanted part of my penis cut off. Nobody told my mother, who was a girl of 22, how painful it would be.
I am all for the protection of women and the protection of the vulva. You don't know me and you therefore cannot vaguely imagine how committed I am to the protection of women, and their sexual integrity. You have met nothing like my perspective.
But I think that after 150 years of feminism accusing men of enslaving women, it's time to see the damage that society and that women do to men. Anyone who is against female genital mutilation but who is not opposed and outspoken about male genital mutilation — disguised as a medial treatment and done for profit — is a bald hypocrite.
And any man I personally know who has a daughter would wring the neck of and watch turn blue anyone who tried to cut their daughter or granddaughter's labia. This is not about men. It's about everyone — the cutters are women.
The male foreskin contains between 10,000 and 20,000 specialized erotogenic nerve endings. These are coiled, fine-touch receptors that are abundant in the foreskin and connect to receptors in the brain and spiritually the heart chakra. There are also "free nerve endings" or nerve terminations, with 115 per square centimeter according to Bazett et al., and are involved in detecting various sensations, including touch, temperature, and pain. That is not a scrap of skin. And if you don't care about that, claiming to care about women is mere virtue signaling. And your name is not "Heaven." That is a fake name.
My son and his son, my grandson, also intact. My son as a teenager, did get snarky with me, "thanks mom, it will cost me $7000 to do this as soon as I'm 18!". Glad that he didn't, but that was HIS CHOICE as an adult.
I agree with most everything you are saying here, Eric. But…Don’t put the blame on mothers. It is not the mothers who want this for their boy. It is the brain washing of the medical industry that convinces PARENTS to have their boys circumcised. They taut it is for prevention of infections if a boy is not kept clean enough or if a child/man doen’t keep himself clean. My husband and I together had a discussion about it before giving birth to our son as my father was not circumcised(being born in Europe) and my husband was. Sadly we didn’t know we should do our own research into the whole thing. Some of the stupid crap we were told is that if the father is circumcised then son should be circumcised so that the son doesn’t feel different from his father. Another piece of crap we were told is that our son will get teased by male peers as most boys are circumcised. So sadly and very regretfully we have two boys and both are circumcised. My sister and her husband chose not to circumcise her son as her husband was not circumcised. Her son did go through some teasing growing up but survived it and is thankful his parents made the right choice. My sons are a bit upset with us now as adults now that they have learned about the foreskin. I only just learned the past couple of years how horrific this procedure is. IF I and my husband were much better informed back when they were born, we would not have agreed to it. Just like injections there is no full information we parents got/get. Back in the 80’s and 90’s there was no internet. No one around us spoke of harms of circumcision or injections. I can’t go back in time and undo what is done. All I and my husband can do is apologize and educate them and others.

Thank you for sharing Naomi’s article and a quick summary of this terrible mutilation going on. Time for a children’s bill of rights. Nobody under 18 can be mutilated, sterilized (literally or chemically with puberty blockers), have double mastectomies, or any other procedure they are unable to consent to. Parents should not have these rights under loopholes in the laws. Children are people that shouldn’t legally enter adulthood with sexual scars because of their parents misguided beliefs.
What more proof do we need to see that we live on a Planet run on fear, not love. It's been going on for so long that it's become Normal, as exampled by this article, an extreme example that gets the point across. And exampled by Eric F. C. in his comment - more so because it's so widespread. "Circumcision ? What's the problem it's Normal ".
How about the continued use of the Hep B vaccine ? Kennedy talks about the harm it does on his interview with Tucker Carlson and nothing gets done. Newborns, daily being given the vaccine by the thousands, daily....... The only outrage I've seen about it is by Jon. Otherwise, " What's the problem, it's Normal. "
So, we have a current situation where people aren't outraged at the ongoing harming and ruination of our children, our newborns. What does this say about us and our future ????? If we aren't outraged by this and the mutilation of women, then what will outrage us ? Taking away our cell phones ? - Yes, in a heartbeat. Voila, case closed.......
Honestly, I couldn’t agree more with this article. FGM is pure evil—let’s call it what it is—and yet, somehow, we’re all supposed to just nod along in the name of “diversity,” as if mutilating girls is the new American pastime. Sorry, but the only thing that should be getting cut in this country is legacy main stream media, not young girls.
If this is what “United We Accept Anything America” looks like, maybe we should advertise it: “Come to America—bring your worst traditions, and we might even throw you a parade!” Protecting girls should be an absolute no-brainer. If we keep ignoring this, soon there won’t be much left of the America we actually want—just a dumping ground for horrors that everyone’s too afraid to stop.
Time for authorities to do more than just write strongly worded letters—and maybe actually enforce the law, before “freedom” becomes the freedom to get away with anything.
Immigrants (legal) also are forced to take the Hep B vaxx, whether they are a risk group (which shouldn't be able to immigrate in the first place) or not.
Yes, it is amazing how much sick stuff gets introduced and normalized by this evil cabal.
I don't have kids so usually I am not aware of what they are doing. Came across this article the other day which blew my mind. The author was correct - most older people have NO IDEA!
“Larger academic studies of college students in the US and Australia put it at much higher,” says Meyrick. US research found that 64% of female college students had been choked during sex. In contrast, data on previous generations, collected between 2006 and 2015, found that most college students didn’t include choking when listing rough sexual behaviour (slapping, being pinned down or tied up were all cited) and, overall, choking/strangulation was reported as occurring infrequently. “It has become normalised practice among younger people and not viewed as problematic,” says Meyrick, “and most older people have no idea.”
Then that God would be a dictator of sorts. How about a God that allows us to have the freedom to choose how we live - whether in fear or in love. The Garden of Eden being a good example. Eve choose the fruit, tempted by the idea of becoming God-like. Her choice, and the side effect being the creation of the Ego. Thus setting up the on-going battle we are in...........It's up to us, or otherwise, we would be little puppets being moved around as your God desires..........
No wonder the American Somali community in Minnesota are hardcore leftist Democrats…. The Somalis are culturally barbaric , and the Democrats promote genital mutilation as well
I was in Rochester MN for 2 years. I saw them coming there through the churches and the area they lived. It was the first time I seen women fully dressed black with niqab burqa and peeking out that little slot in America in public like it didn't mean nothing. Not pretty. Who knew they were nearly all mutilated.
This is a cultural practice like wearing a burka, lip & neck rings and scarification. Circumcision of 13 Year old African boys to prove their manhood. All the while we're cutting off genitalia of children here in America and killing them with vaccines. All of it monstrous.
Is this pornographic, depraved country any better or worse than what the Somali culture brings to the table, given as a whole? It's obvious why these Somali women do this to their own. My question is, why did they choose to emigrate to a country that is the antithesis of what they are trying to prevent in their culture, that they are now knee deep in? Better to have stayed home..
Thank you for covering another facet of the insanity running wild in this country, (and Naomi) and for being a voice for common sense, so often buried now it’s unrecognizable to many. Brutality in all forms is what needs to die.

The cutting of anyone's genitals is abhorrent to me. Yes, the Somali version used on women is disgusting.
