Most animals and humans contain viral particles so it seems to me a sample from someone not sick with any viral symptoms would need to be taken and then ALL viral particles in that person would need to be sequenced and identified to be certain unknowns weren’t floating in their system. Many types of cancers cells can be facilitated by viral infections - not always causing cancer but they can trigger such cells to form. So a cancer patient could very well harbor viral particles. The symptoms of SARS-COv-2 are very much like flu symptoms although there does appear to be some after effects that we don’t see in influenza infections. But your point that the isolation processes in the paper referred to are sloppy is well taken. Other labs globally claim to have isolated the virus correctly and we would need to examine the processes from each of those claims. It would be a good thing to do these days but not likely. My personal take on all of this is if you get sick find an honest practitioner of some form of medicine who will treat you and move on. Or if you are one of those honest practitioners, treat yourself and move on. Say “no” to declarations of emergencies and to mandates and fight the tyranny.
