Podcast: The War in Israel, Religions of War, and Insights of the Gnostics
War, war, and more war: “We must have it.”
In this podcast, I’m going to assess the evidence for the War in Israel as a planned event—concocted at levels higher than Hamas, Iran, and the conventional government of Israel.
Then I’ll provide some important background on the two religions that are involved in the War: Islam and Judaism.
That will lead into a discussion of Gnosticism, a spiritual and philosophical view of: Earth’s creation; how it came about; who was involved; and basic misconceptions about gods, God, wars, and human impulses to fight wars (which somehow never lead to lasting peace). I’ll explore several shocking stories in the Old Testament.
These issues are far from academic or abstract. They impact daily life and death across the planet.
Down through history, many thinkers, rebels, artists, writers, and even soldiers came to the conclusion that Earth was a madhouse. Why? Beyond the obvious evidence of endless wars and suffering, what were they glimpsing?
Let’s see how deep we can go—brushing aside the blizzard of cover stories, and instead considering new possibilities.
Finally, I’ll cover the deep, deep rabbit hole Marine Major General Smedley Butler led us into, with his shocking and revolutionary 1935 dissertation, WAR IS A RACKET. Almost no one wants to deal with implications of his experience and his words. But we have to. The Founders should have, at the beginning of the Republic. They committed a disastrous (and intentional?) oversight.
Join me in this podcast. I’m shoving all the chips I can find to the center of the table. All in.
