I suspect this was an engineered or staged event. My husband is retired nypd and wondered why the SS didn’t have handheld ballistic shields when they jumped on Trump instead of just using their bodies. Bullets can go thru 2 bodies. Those are standard security equipment apparently. Also trumps head was often up and exposed while they were covering him onstage (for a long time) and not totally covered which is also a security failure. But that allowed for that “iconic” photo op of him with blood on his head and the flag in the background
