I haven't watched the NBA since '05, when the Pacers at Pistons brawl happened and the league dismantled my favorite team. I don't miss it at all. They can move to China for all I care.
I went to one of the playoff games in Minneapolis last month. You are going to have a hard time convincing me that it wasn’t fixed... I wonder if it’s geared for sports betting... I don’t know but I do know that the biggest star on the other side was in the game the whole time and didn’t even try. I remember a Dallas NFL game a few years ago that I would have sworn was geared for a certain sports bet.
Yes, but the 1972 summit hockey series of the Canadians versus the Russians still proved the good guys can win the game against all odds. The Russian referees called ridiculous penalty after ridiculous penalty, and the Canadian players were angry and would break sticks, but their passion made the difference and Paul Henderson scored the winning goal to beat the Russians...against all odds. The Russians were disciplined players and not so emotional. The Canadians were disciplined players too but emotional. In the end, their passion and heart made that little bit of extra difference. I live in Germanada under Mein Fuhrer Trudeau and try to wake Canadians up here, but they are mostly asleep. The few who "play the game" with me are mostly black-pilled, as in, "there's nothing we can do but give up or run away." I'm thinking of moving to Russia.........
Interesting you bring up hockey, bc what Jon is noticing happened in the nhl and the game became a free-for-all of one fist fight after another. Ruined the game. I noticed what Jon noticed in basketball many years ago. I refuse to watch any pro sport anymore because of the gratuitous violence and the games are obviously rigged. Ugh.
I stopped watching many years ago when the refs all got those little wired ear pieces. Best believe the voices from “upstairs” are telling them when (and when not) to blow the whistle. The fix has been in for decades.

The fans ARE too dumb to notice, or care. Same with baseball. Or, should I say Home Run Derby?

Hahaha. I see palming all the time too. They make it sound like fake flops when charged at at 60mph.
Oh and one of my all time favorites was call The Matrix. Shawn Marion. What a coincidence.

The influence of gambling ruins all sports.
