Excellent Jon. I’ve started to realize that the biggest crisis we all face is a shortage of empathy. Discernment also. But imagine what potential we people on this planet in this country would have if we could simply learn to put ourselves in the shoes of one another. I spend time daily writing to victims of the clot shots. The most disgusting thing I hear is the gaslighting and cruelty they face from Covidian zealots. Where oh where has human kindness gone? https://youtu.be/YIffz-72B8Y

I have 3 stepsons, all retired police officers. Following the Uvalde shooting and reports that 19 police officers stood outside while children were gunned down, I said my stepson would have charged in and ended this horror. If he was ordered to stand down by a superior officer he would have said "Go F***k yourself", and proceeded into the building. Jon is right, the number of great police officers far outnumber the bad, and I do not consider Derek Chauvin a bad police officer, perhaps not a great one, but not a bad one, by any means.

I don't know about elsewhere, but off-duty police officers in Wisconsin have to carry a weapon at all times. They are expected to enforce the law 24/7
