If the plan is to prompt a violent uprising, so that the government can put it down, killing Trump would be a brilliant step. Most of the left would stand up and applaud the courageous action. Why wait for actual Americans to take up arms? You could just have some CIA Satanic punks start popping off rounds at government buildings. That's all the pretext the government would need.
