My whole world was turned around and upended back to its correct position after 60 years due to great thinkers and writers like Jon. Too many to mention here. I support some of them monthly on a rotating basis best I can as I could not live with myself as a freeloader.

It’s become expensive to support my reading habit but even more difficult to find stuff worth reading, like a junkie trying for a higher high. Thank goodness for writers like Jon who’ll only charge $0.19 for a high.

Hello sir, I have subscribed to several (10+) Substack authors such as yourself. Monthly, annually, sent Kofi, bought "beers" for (see David Cole).

The problem with this model is twofold. First, it can get expensive, hundreds of dollars a year. Second, the writers are stand alone, so subscribers only see what that particular author writes at any given time a subscription is active so the articles are not paywalled.

I subscribe because it is worth it, there is value to the relationship. However, it's not like subscribing to an old school magazine or newspaper that (used to) bring many different authors viewpoints together on one platform for one subscription price. Perhaps there is a better payment model that can be created, like a magazine that would allow for payment of a flat subscription fee to Substack which would allow the reader to choose several authors out of a group with that one subscription.

Or would the writers be back to starving under this model? Just a thought.

Creative idea you have there. I like it. In that model, substack rulers/owners/controllers **might** gain too much control over the content that we are allowed to see.

As others have said, original, high-quality, well researched content is worth every penny. Especially the forbidden content. I also can't help but feel that the cost of good content keeps the average peasant from receiving it, and therefore the forbidden content is no threat to our globalist overlords. Should there be a way to donate subscriptions to those who wouldn't normally purchase content but need it so badly, on a grand scale.

Good post

I’ll gladly pay for the truth.

We have been lied to so much for so long.

Thank you Jon.

In a few years, A/I will be doing all the writing. Humans no longer required. In this way, the globalist slobs can completely control the written word and the thunk thought.

I sort of disagree with this. There will be "writers", but they will be scores of minnies working for gov, pharma, big corp, big tech etc, hammering out the daily assigned meaningless paragraphs containing the keywords that the algorithms of AI scourer the internet to provide responses to questions unintelligent people ask. The funny thing is so many people think these AI responses are true and accurate. Nothing could be further from the truth. Thought control at its best!

AI always gets the details wrong. The true impact of AI will be that no one will believe anything.

very insightful comment! I agree. And might I add my humble opinion is that is the ultimate end goal. Who is the father of lies and confusion?

Yes they do. For centuries upon centuries. Our lives are so brief we are only able to catch a glimpse of the "big picture" and then only if we are paying attention. Way back in high school my world history was the only classroom that I would hang out in after class having great discussions about what little knowledge we had back then. My curiosity has never stopped growing as my learning is new every day. I think learning and the quest for knowledge & wisdom is of greater benefit to our minds than any pharmaceutical drug can touch for the benefit of our health. Our culture and society are in a state of advanced decay because our "leaders" decided to abandon the only true source of wisdom in this realm. Instant gratification without restraint leads to disaster.

The enemy of our soul knows this also. Who do we think designed this system we have grown up into? This is all enemy territory. Fear is the #1 tool in the arsenal of the enemy. Fear can be used in so many diverse ways. Truth, Faith, Hope, and Love with prayer are formidable tools that cast out fear.

Let us carry ourselves sober minded and aware as we engage one another encouraging and strengthening as the great Sequoia Redwoods have done for centuries. He that is within us is our armor and defender which no created being can touch without permission.

We are in enemy territory and the war is heating up. One day at a time.

Yes, AI always gets the details wrong because those promoting it don't care about details only the narrative they want to drive. I believe in the short run many will not believe AI especially the older people, but the younger ones will be taught to believe it and in time it will become the accepted norm. Even now most people rely page one of google to inform them the absolute truth on a topic never suspecting that often what they are reading is false. Think of the current use of "fact checkers" and how most people don't realize that no facts are checked at all..

I'm a writer too. But who wants to read books about what is wrong with humanity -- that We Are Fallen Angels? (All of us -- until we aren't anymore, and we become just angels.) There's no pointing the finger anywhere else. The problem is right inside us, using and abusing us in our natural souls, and driving us into religious institutions that promise to assuage our guilt. But nothing really works, except being "born from above". And it seems to take some serious suffering before we are ready to give up and look up.

You speak with wisdom. True wisdom from above. No man has revealed this truth to you...only the Spirit of the Most High God can do that. I applaud your brave spirit to speak truth into a dark culture that desperately needs The Light of The World. His name is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I know many will mock our faith in the Most High God who reigns supreme over the affairs of men. Just like in ancient days of old they mocked and laughed at Noah for 120 years, until one day it started to rain like never before. Then they mocked no more.

The book of Romans challenges the mockers even more. Especially chapter 9 of Romans. The TRUTH within will do one of two things to the human heart. A person's heart will either be humbled by the Awesome Sovereignty of the Most High God's power and absolute authority over His creation and His awesome Grace towards us or very tragically this truth will harden the prideful heart....those "nice people" who are proud of their good works and they try in vain to earn their way into the Kingdom of God.

For those who are curious and like to read I highly recommend a very old book first published in 1678. The book is titled "The Pilgrim's Progress: From this World to that Which is to Come" The author had only a limited grade-school education and made his living at the tinker's trade, going from house to house repairing pots and pans. His name was John Bunyan (1628-1688) Because he wasn't properly "licensed to preach" by the established powers within the Church of England, he was imprisoned in the primitive conditions of the Bedford Jail beginning in early 1661, where he languished for the next twelve years. It is during this time that most scholars believe that Bunyan wrote the original draft using only a copy of the Bible as his single reference material.

Other than the Bible itself, this book is the most prized of the many on my bookshelf. I strive to read it several times each year. It's very masterfully written and you'll find yourself identifying with all of the characters within the book. The copy I recommend is published by Crossway in Wheaton, IL C.J. Lovik, editor with illustrations by Mike Wimmer. First printing in 2009. Reprinted with new cover design in 2019. Hardcover ISBN: 978-1-4335-6250-1

Merry Christmas to all! Remember to hug your loved ones tight and keep them far away from any hospital ER if they suffer from sniffles and minor cold/flu symptoms with mild fever. I'm not a doctor and this is not professional medical advice.....just common sense learned the hard way. Chicken Soup for the soul.

We, as a group of people, are Jon Rappoport fans because Jon found his purpose in this life! Jon is passionate (and very talented with writing) and we all benefit from his work. Long after we have passed from this life and few remember our names anymore......will what we did still make a positive difference in the lives of the "future" readers and writers? I certainly hope so.

I wonder if three hundred & forty six years ago in 1678 John Bunyan would have ever dreamed that people's lives could be impacted by his passion to write? I doubt it. But he soldiered on as we must. The clock ticks and winds down for each of us. Let us live to make a lasting legacy to the future unborn grandchildren of tomorrow. (for those who like numbers and history: 07-07-1678 to current day: 12-12-2024 is 126, 532 days) Truth never gets old.

Jon Rappoport is setting the bar pretty high. Thank you sir!

Writers can't unite because they are competitors, competing for the attention of their audience. Therefore, a writer must isolate a niche audience. Jon R. reminds me of a writer from the past who did exactly what Jon said, he got a job at the newspaper while he was also producing novels and poems. He moved from the country to the city of Chicago, and finally ended up in LA. It was possible in those days for Theodore Dreiser, and other talented writers, to make hay in the newspaper industry. But they didn't produce good writing for newspapers, because newspapers can't publish good writing. They only publish government and corporate propaganda--newpaperthink. The other problem is that once you isolate your niche audience, you have to keep producing for them. They pigeonhole you. It seems to the devourers that the producer is in their chains, but the devourers actually rely on the producer for life itself. Ayn Rand made an entire career from this single idea--beating her audience about the head with it repeatedly... and they loved it. I guess my advice to burgeoning writers is to find one idea your audience can understand and kick them in the balls with it for 50 years. Many successful writers on substack do this several times every day.

Anyone who can talk about a boring subject like writing and hold my attention for however minutes, make me smile and laugh and educate me on accepting prosperity that is simply value for value or fair financial exchange, that is there for the taking, most definitely gets my money.

Go writers. Write and prosper too! Givers gain.

The gift for humans to freely communicate via written language took awhile coming. "Free" discourse tops the list of degenerate entities who would lockdown, control and squeeze the life from. But language, writing and reading exist beyond five-sense physical perception. Close your eyes and what you just wrote or read and was inspired by...all still cozies up in your heart and soul.
