By the way, it must have been Bobby Kennedy advising Trump to nominate Dave Weldon in the first place, no? And then, to that, I wonder what was Susie Wiles’s (*) take on Weldon’s nomination at the time. (*) Wiles is Trump’s chief of staff, and she’s done pro-pharma lobbyist work in the past. And, she ran Trump’s re-election campaign.

The question I have is, why the overall political tactic of “if you don’t have the committee votes, then pull the candidate, instead of getting the dissenting senators on the record”?

Doesn’t the latter make more strategic sense IF you’d want to double-down and go more hard-core anti-vaxx with the 2nd nominee (not that Trump go THERE, which is a devastating disappointment (more on this below), but...)...

...Then, while the “CDC post” continues to be vacant (for a “long time”), Bobby’s more directly in-charge of it—which is an ‘ostensible’ plus, I would think,...

…But then, the Dems, in the run up to the mid-terms, would cry, ‘children are dying! Measles! No CDC Director!’—so, is that ‘the why’?

‘The why’—coming from Trump’s advisors being, ultimately, “It would hurt us in the the mid-term elections”? Meaning, if the ‘CDC Director’ position is not filled ‘quickly’ (a Trump adverb), then the Dems and their Big Harma backers would be able to relentlessly out-PR Team Trump/Kennedy—ultimately causing a loss in the mid-terms—and all from a (very) black “trumped-up death” propaganda campaign—that no one in MAGA/MAHA has the ability nor the stomach to counter?

...The no votes, in committee, from Cassidy, Collins, and Murkowski could keep being recorded as “NOs” forever and ever,... and Trump could then call for the primarying of these three amigos—instead of recently calling for the primarying of budget hawk Thomas Massie...

‘Was hoping Trump would have taken this as an opportunity to kick-off a Mutiny—upon learning of the three senators’ discontent & dissent OVER THE NOTION OF THE THREAT OF ‘A WELDON’ STOPPING THE FLOW OF THE POISONS...

…All Trump would have had to have said to reporters (from within the Oval office for added effect), to kick it off, would have been, “No, we want those three senators on the record. The three amigos, I call them. Cassidy, Collins, Murkowski. I call them the three amigos...”

But, it seems like Trump blinked—and again, I wonder, all over the mid-term elections and what would ostensibly stand behind all that? A relentless Democrat/Big Harma/Mainstream Media/Hollywood/CIA-Beachheads-on-Substack black propaganda campaign?

And, as the tale goes in Trump-45/47 White House lore-world, “Well, you know, or, as everyone knows, the last person to speak to Trump, that’s whose advise he goes with...”

Was [Susie Wiles] the last person to speak to Trump about the matter of the three amigo senators, a few days ago?

Trump has to fully know by now that he has The People behind him to kick off the mutiny, to then be fought out and for, in the infowar…

"You don’t have to lead the CDC to expose the CDC. Right?"

Damn right.
