Our family in rural NY hosted a Fresh Air child for over a decade and I know first hand the difficulty his single Mom had raising him with respect for himself, for her and his grandmother who eventually raised him when his Mom died far too young. He was a wonderful kid and is a fine man today. He's like one of my own kids and I love him so much. His story could have been so different but for his mom. Other black moms want the same things for their kids and will fight for it but they get no press because it goes against the narrative that the Dems present. How I want to see a free press in America that actually reports on issues such as this one fairly and honestly. This is why I appreciate you, Jon, because you bring up these issues in such a way that a person can really take hold of and think about them. Thanks for that.
